Moon's remaining degrees: The Moon's remaining degrees in its current sign provide the primary short-term timing clue. Classical Prashna assigns each degree to a time unit (days, weeks, or months depending on the question's urgency and the tradition). A Moon with 7 degrees remaining in fertile Cancer suggests 7 months as a timing indicator.

Jupiter's transit: Jupiter takes approximately one year to transit each sign. When Jupiter transits over the Prashna chart's 5th house cusp or over the natal degree of the 5th lord, the progeny promise is activated.
